Jessica Brit Ingle is a curator, writer, and art entrepreneur focusing on Texas art. She has worked over fifteen years in various arenas throughout the Texas art scene, including major museums, galleries, and private collections. As such, she has a keen understanding of Texas art institutions and their collections and can draw upon a strong network of art professionals throughout the state.

With a background in registration and art advising, Jessica has a strong understanding of collection management, art acquisition and preparation, and the art market. She has established archival policies and procedures for multiple public and private collections and is fluent in art acquisition, preparation, and the art market.

As the founder of Texas Vignette, an organization dedicated to promoting, supporting, and connecting women in the Texas art scene, Jessica has experience building a successful non-profit. In her capacity as President of Texas Vignette, Jessica has acted as a liaison between the board and the advisory council and has helped raise over $300,000 in monetary and in-kind donations for various initiatives, including artist grants and an annual art fair.

Jessica is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Texas at Dallas, specializing in Modern and Contemporary American art, with a particular emphasis on Texas art, photography, and feminism. She has presented at major institutions such as the Dallas Museum of Art and the Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art, and has curated exhibitions in institutional, university, corporate, and gallery spaces. She is currently working on a dissertation that surveys Texas women photographers, with the goal of publishing her research as part of a four-book series.
